We’re About Creating Lasting Relationships!
Hello families! My name is Jamie Campbell and I am blessed to be here at the Fifteenth Avenue Child Learning Center where we are dedicated to helping children learn and develop in a loving and nurturing environment. It is our mission to train up children in a Christian environment and to prepare them to be successful for their educational journey and have the necessary life skills to become healthy individuals. I have been teaching in early childhood for over thirteen years and it has been my passion in life to help children learn and develop. My journey began with Fifteenth Avenue as the toddler teacher in 2005 and I ended up transitioning into the interim director position six months later.
I am a recent graduate of Belmont University’s teacher education program and I am currently in a Master’s program at Belmont. In the summer of 2010, I will graduate with a Master’s in Teaching (Pre-k – 3rd Grade) with a certification in Montessori education as well. I am also a candidate for the Tennessee Administrators Credential, which I will complete in May 2010. Hard work, dedication, intentionality, and integrity are just a few words to describe what drives me to produce excellence in educating young children. My ultimate goal in life is to know that I have pleased my Heavenly Father by being a steward for Him! It is an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s growth and development. I will never settle when it comes to our children because I know firsthand what it is like to be an employee, parent and Director of the Fifteenth Avenue Child Learning Center. I have five children, 4 of which have completed the program either under Meharry Preschool or at Fifteenth Avenue and I have enjoyed the family-like relationships that I have built with staff that still remain with the learning center. Our long standing reputation makes me proud and I love what this ministry stands for. Children come first and it will always be about what is best for them! I personally welcome you to the Fifteenth Avenue Family and thank God that you have been sent our way.
